BSc (Hons), MSc – Sports Therapy Practitioner
Amy is a caring and friendly Sports Therapy Practitioner who uses an integrated approach to rehabilitation that considers all aspects of your lifestyle. She believes in having an open and harmonious relationship with clients to enable the best treatment plan for your goals.
She holds a BSc in Equine and Human Sports Science in addition to her MSc in Sports Therapy, and also works within the NHS as a Physiotherapy Practitioner Assistant in the Falls & Neurological Department.
As a graduate Sports Therapy Practitioner Amy possesses the skills to assess and treat a range of musculoskeletal issues for both sport and non-sport clients. Sessions with her may include; sports massage and advanced soft tissue techniques, exercise rehabilitation, lifestyle advice, K-Taping and strapping, therapeutic ultrasound, and supervised use of the AlterG anti-gravity treadmill.
Amy truly understands the importance of getting you back to doing what you love due to her own past injuries. She enjoys most sports and outdoor activities, with a special love for equestrian sports and weightlifting. Whatever your goals, be it to improve day-to-day function or getting back to a sporting level, Amy is well placed to help you be your best.
