BSc (Hons) – Sports Therapy Practitioner. MSK Practitioner.
Tom has been working with patients and athletes at the Hub since 2019, and is part of our team of musculoskeletal practitioners here at the clinic. He specialises in working with patients and athletes with running-specific injuries and problems, and incorporates a variety of treatment techniques and expert knowledge on rehabilitation exercises to help those in pain. His enthusiasm to get people back to exercise shines through, helping to push patients back to their best.
Tom studied Sports Therapy at the University of Bedfordshire, and has further qualifications in gait analysis and re-education, running coaching, various taping and strapping techniques, medical acupuncture, and therapeutic ultrasound. Tom is a highly skilled practitioner, he is very ‘hands-on’, and his experience and various treatment modalities aid him in helping a significant number of patients with all sorts of musculoskeletal conditions.

Away from the clinic Tom works within the running community of Biggleswade and the local area, assisting with coaching and support of fellow runners. Tom has an extensive sporting background and previously competed in Triple Jump; he was ranked number two in the country before suffering a back injury that halted his jumping career. He is now a competitive track runner and recently completed his first half marathon. Tom loves cooking inventive and tasty meals that help to fuel his training and regularly spoils the team and his partner with culinary treats.
“I improved week after week, from not being able to run, to now running 12 miles without stopping.”
