Local health and wellness providers that we love
1 January 2025The start of a new year can mean many things to different people. Sometimes it is a fresh start after the end of a difficult time, for others it poses a daunting beginning of a new chapter. No matter what your situation, it is a good time to reflect upon the year before and plan for the weeks and months ahead.
Many journeys begin in January, and whether that relates to a fitness journey, an emotional journey, or something as simple as taking up a new hobby, sometimes we need a little help along the way. So, throughout the month of January, we wanted to highlight other industry professionals who strive to promote health and well-being practices within the local community. Over the course of the month, we will spotlight 7 different businesses with an aim to tell you a little bit about them and share why we love them. Their passion and dedication to helping others is something to be celebrated, and we hope you find this to be a useful resource should you want any help with your year ahead.
Inspirit Studio
First up we have Inspirit, they are a welcoming space for Yoga and other mindfulness practices including breathwork, meditation and sound healing. We love the team because they have created a little oasis of calm, and they are so in love with what they do. There is a range of classes that are all instructed with care and a very personal touch. They have a genuine passion for what they do, and they have built a community of wellbeing, helping so many people reconnect with themselves. They are always happy to take your call, so if you want to know more, check out or social media for their contact information.
Conor Inskip – CI Fitness
Next up is Conor, he is committed to making a difference – his aim is to make exercise accessible to everyone, and he loves working with all abilities. He brings a wealth of knowledge to his sessions and would love to help you on your journey. He offers a range of services including personal training sessions, boot camps and senior fitness classes. We have worked alongside Conor for a long time, and he is always on our list of recommendations for anyone wishing to explore the health and fitness industry. Conor throws 110% into all that he offers and genuinely cares about the people he works with, and this is why we are such advocates of his work.
Lauren Louise Wellness
Our journey continues with Lauren, she has been a practicing therapist for the last 12 years. Yoga and wellbeing are her passions in life. She loves what she does, it is always her intention to help people feel better, and to teach them how to help themselves on a physical, emotional, mental and spiritual level. She believes that “self-care is giving the world the best of you, instead of what’s left of you!”. Her services include massage and skincare, Yoga – vinyasa, yin, and restorative yoga to all levels, and she is also trained in ‘Made for Life’s’ touch therapy, which is designed for those going through cancer treatment or for anyone that cannot have massage for various reasons. For more information about what she offers, please be in touch.
Dani Jade Fit
Next on our list is Dani, she is the face of Dani Jade Fit, a local fitness professional who is passionate about helping you achieve your goals and fall in love with fitness. She strongly believes that exercise and fitness is a lifestyle change and is committed to helping you all the way. A true industry professional with a knack for connecting with anyone she works with, regardless of their goals. Dani is a perfect fit whether you are new to the fitness world or are looking to develop your training and achieve new goals. She offers services such as 1:1 or group personal training sessions, nutritional guidance, bootcamps in the local area and wellness retreats.
DRINK – Running Club
A slightly different just as important shout out is to DRINK. They are an independent craft beer and natural wine shop based in Biggleswade, and they love bringing people together which is why they started their monthly running club —because what’s better than a jog with like-minded folks, followed by a drink or two?! For them, it’s all about staying active, boosting mental health, and balancing fitness with life’s little indulgences. We love this relaxed approach to connecting with others whilst having and laugh and doing something you enjoy, if this sounds like a little bit of you, get in touch with them.
Songbird Hypnotherapy
Katie of Songbird Hypnotherapy is based in Potton and also supports clients online.
Katie practices Solution Focused Hypnotherapy, a combination of forward-thinking talking psychotherapy and hypnosis. The therapy is a modern and up to date approach backed up by neuroscience with no need to focus on the past or the problem.
She supports her clients to move forward, helping them to become the best version of themselves again, focusing on finding solutions and reducing anxiety and stress levels (all of which contribute to many other conditions), as well as changing behaviours and unhelpful thinking patterns. Another individual that we have worked alongside for a while now, Katie is nothing short of brilliant and comes highly recommended by all.
Lisa Hillier Fitness
We conclude our January focus with the fantastic Lisa Hillier Fitness.
Lisa is deeply committed to promoting the benefits of community fitness. Her classes also foster social connections, boost mental well-being, and create a sense of belonging. Lisa ensures every session is more than just a workout and her dedication to making fitness accessible and enjoyable has earned her accolades in the industry.
In addition to her popular in-person classes, Lisa also runs online GroovX Fitness sessions, offering a flexible option for those unable to attend community classes due to work, personal commitments, or location. Lisa’s offerings include Zumba gold, glow beatz, fitness Pilates, YogaScape and GroovX Fitness.

How we can help
We as an injury clinic have a great deal of experience when it comes to dealing with and managing pain and injuries. All of us at the Hub have our very own personal experience of injury, whether it be a knee ACL injury, a chronic hip condition, a spinal fracture, or an AC joint sprain to name a few amongst the team. This experience helps us to empathise with you.
We use in-depth and comprehensive testing to fully assess your pain, understand where it is coming from and provide appropriate treatment and suitable rehabilitation exercises. We will support you every step of the way and are on hand via phone and email to help answer questions to help guide you through what can truly be a difficult time.
Injuries affect us all (unless you are unbelievably lucky), and when they strike it is important to source the right input. They can be challenging to process, and the recovery process is full of highs and lows. As we have seen from the profiles above, injuries do not mean the end, in fact sometimes they can be quite the opposite, there is a great deal to learn from an injury, and you can absolutely come out stronger on the other side.
If you are struggling, or need any support with an injury or pain, please get in touch and let us help you in any way that we can.
