Spotlight on Luke’s new FLIX gymnastics venture
5 February 2026This month we are delighted to shine the spotlight on Luke, our Clinic Lead Practitioner and Sports Therapist – to share some recent highlights from both his professional and personal journey with us here at the Hub.
First up, some exciting news! Luke, alongside his brother, has recently launched a brand-new project: Flix Gymnastics Bedford, a gymnastics club based at Putnoe Primary School in Bedford. But don’t worry, Luke isn’t leaving us, FLIX Gymnastics runs sessions in the evenings and at the weekend.
Luke and his brother opened the doors to their new club on the 19th of January. Their mission is to bring high-quality gymnastics training to Bedford across both recreational and competitive programmes. Luke hopes to share his expertise in movement, coaching, and athlete development with the next generation of gymnasts. It’s a passion project for Luke, and we’re so proud to see him taking his knowledge of sports performance beyond the clinic and into the wider community!
Alongside this exciting launch, Luke has been wedding planning. After celebrating their engagement in February last year, Luke and his fiancé Kelly are well underway with the planning of their wedding in July. Excitement is building at the hub as we near the big day, and we couldn’t be happier for them both.
Luke has been a part of the Hub team for nearly eight years, where he plays a key role as Clinic Lead Practitioner. He works closely with our director, Georgie, helping to run the clinic, manage the patient experience, and support the wider team in their practice and development. He also manages placement opportunities for university students, sharing his experience and helping to nurture the next generation of clinicians. Most recently with our clinic assistant Evie, who is currently in her final year of university and on placement with us on Wednesdays.
Over the years patients have described Luke as thorough, professional, engaging, and knowledgeable, and his dedication to clear communication and tailored rehabilitation is consistently praised. Recent feedback includes:
“At my preliminary consultations I found Luke to be thoroughly professional in his approach, establishing a sense of trust and purpose from the outset. I am delighted that he will be leading me through the rehabilitation process.”
Luke loves helping each and every one of our patients, and we are excited to see him thrive both at the Hub and in his new gymnastics venture.
If you would like to find out more about Sports Therapy or to book an appointment with Luke or a member of the team, we will be happy to help.
