We have a strong, active running community around is in Biggleswade and this is the time to ready yourself for 2021 events. Let’s see how we can help you prepare!


The Brand New Runner (returns July 21)

New to running, or returning after a long break?

Make sure you get going with the strongest possible start… This is a two-hour practical and fun workshop covering the basics of biomechanics and good running form, the importance of using a plan, and how to keep strong and ward-off injury.  We’ve also got some useful tips and tricks to help you stay focused when things get tough, and we discuss who to turn to should you need help and support.  It’s perfect for you on your own or bring a buddy.

Although highly practical this workshop is based mainly indoors, with some running, run/walking and movement work outside.  Layered clothing and trainers are required.  No children under 16 please.  Groups are kept deliberately small in number to ensure adequate instruction.

Going Long (returns July 21)

Essential Marathon and Half Marathon workshop.

You may want to improve upon your Marathon or Half Marathon running, or you could be planning to “go long” for the very first time in 2020.  Either way, this two-hour “eureka moment” session is critical to unpicking what you need to get to the start line injury-free and with a smile on your face!  We will discuss your running history, look at your running style, cover some essential biomechanics and introduce you to the form needed to go long – strong.

Layered clothing and trainers are required.  No children under 16 please.  Groups are kept deliberately small in number to ensure adequate instruction.

Your Personal Running Toolkit (returns July 21)

Heard of Prehab?  It’s a buzzword right?

As a runner you need a personalised toolkit of exercises and recovery techniques plus the knowledge of how to deal with niggles as and when they arise.  You have to both reduce the risk of injury through your Prehab toolkit, and respond rapidly with the right techniques when injuries strike.

Prehab is only beneficial if it is a plan that’s specific to you, your body and your goal. Discover your own personal prehab toolkit comprising mobility, strength and recovery options. Highly practical session involving muscle and joint testing.
