Érin Oakman
Paediatric Physiotherapist BSc (Hons) – Little Steps Physiotherapy
Érin is part of the Little Steps Physiotherapy team, with fellow paediatric physiotherapists Alison and Judy. They provide Children’s Physiotherapy at the Rehab Hub on Mondays and Saturdays.
Érin qualified in 2006 with BSc (Hons) in Physiotherapy. She is a member of the Health and Care Professions Council and the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy.
She started her career in a rotational NHS post gaining a wide base of knowledge across the core areas of physiotherapy. She always knew she wanted to work with children and specialised in paediatrics over 10 years ago.
Alongside Little Steps Physiotherapy she continues with her NHS role as a specialised community paediatric physiotherapist. Érin has completed post graduate training as a baby massage instructor and can communicate with basic Makaton sign language.
Érin is a Mother herself and fully understands the pressures and importance of family life, this drives her therapy to be holistic, professional and playful. Érin values the importance of early intervention and seeks to achieve every child’s full potential while building a positive supportive relationship with her patients.
