Marc – sub 3-hour marathon
15 March 2025Meet Marc, a dedicated marathon runner with a hunger for speed. Like many endurance athletes, he knows that training alone isn’t enough—staying injury-free and optimising recovery are just as important. That’s where our Sports Therapist & Run Specialist, Tom, comes in!
Marc has been seeing Tom for regular treatment, rehab, and expert guidance to manage the aches, niggles, and muscle tightness that come with high-mileage training. Through hands-on therapy, tailored mobility work, and strength exercises, Marc has kept his body in peak condition—allowing him to push harder without breaking down.
As our Run Specialist, Tom has also provided running-specific guidance to fine-tune Marc’s biomechanics, helping him improve efficiency, reduce injury risk, and maximise performance.
🔥 The Result? Marc recently smashed his personal best, running a sub-3-hour marathon! His commitment to both training and recovery paid off, proving that performance isn’t just about miles—it’s about overall health, resilience, and smart management.
