Ollie the Osteopath celebrates seven years at the Hub!

This month we’re celebrating a very special milestone as Ollie Eaton marks seven years with Rehab Hub!

When Ollie joined us back in 2019, he quickly became known for his calm, reassuring approach and the confidence he gives people from the moment they walk through the door. Seven years on, those qualities haven’t changed. If anything, they’ve become the hallmark of our osteopathy service.

Patients often tell us that they appreciate Ollie’s hands-on style of treatment. He takes the time to understand not only where your pain is, but why it has developed, combining traditional osteopathic techniques with modern research, movement science and his knowledge and love of sport. It’s a thoughtful approach that helps people understand their bodies and, most importantly, get back to doing the things they enjoy.

So, what is osteopathy?

If you’ve never seen an osteopath before, you might be surprised by just how many people can benefit from it.

Although osteopathy is often associated with back and neck pain, it’s suitable for a huge range of musculoskeletal problems. From persistent shoulder pain and stiff hips, to headaches, sporting injuries and the everyday aches that can creep in through work, gardening or simply getting older, osteopaths look at how the whole body moves and functions rather than focusing on one painful area in isolation.

That whole-person approach has become increasingly popular, and we’ve seen demand for osteopathy continue to grow over recent years. It’s fantastic to see so many people discovering just how much it can help!

A growing team

In fact, the service has grown so much that last year we welcomed osteopath Lucy McSweeney to the team. Lucy has quickly become a fantastic addition, bringing her own skills and interests while working closely alongside Ollie to ensure patients receive the right care at the right time.

One of the things we’re particularly proud of at Hub is how closely our practitioners work together. Osteopathy, physiotherapy and sports therapy don’t exist in separate silos here. Our clinicians regularly discuss cases and refer patients to one another when another profession is better placed to help. That collaborative approach means patients receive the expertise they need, rather than simply seeing whoever they booked with first.

The continued growth of the osteopathy service means we’re not stopping there either. We’re delighted that another osteopathic colleague will be joining the team this autumn, allowing us to help even more people access the care they need. Exciting times!

Congratulations, Ollie!

For now though, we’d simply like to say congratulations to Ollie on seven years with Rehab Hub.

Thank you for the expertise, the reassurance, the consistency and the care you’ve brought to thousands of patients over the years. You have helped shape not only our osteopathy service, but the culture of the clinic too, and we couldn’t be happier that you’ve been part of the journey.

Here’s to the next chapter!
