Dan qualified with a BSc (Hons) degree in Physiotherapy in 2015 and has 8 years’ experience as a physiotherapist and medic within elite football and is currently positioned with premiership club Watford FC. He is also well used to treating a varied caseload of patients in musculoskeletal and neurological rehabilitation. He has a special interest in tendinous issues, and persistent pain conditions.
He is a member of the Health Care Professions Council, the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy, and Football Medical & Performance Association.
Dan provides Physiotherapy for a range of conditions including:
- Sports injuries
- Hip/knee/ankle/foot problems
- Neck/shoulder/elbow and hand problems
- Back pain
- Whiplash
- Persistent pain conditions
Sessions usually consist of a combination of manual therapy, exercise programmes and advice, individually tailored to your needs. Treatment modalities may include soft tissue work and mobilisations, ultrasound, medical acupuncture and taping.
Pre/Post operative treatment and advice
Dan has a wealth of experience treating patients following orthopaedic surgery of the lower-limb, including traumatic injuries in athletes. He is adept at conditioning patients for surgery, and rehabilitating post-operatively from day one following surgery, right through to discharge.
