Whether you’re experiencing problems with day-to-day activities or in achieving an important sporting goal, our Practitioners are kind, experienced and confident in helping you:
• Rehabilitate back, joint and muscle injuries and dysfunction
• Prepare for or recover from surgery
• Improve chronic pain
• Recover from accidents, including whiplash
• Improve discomfort from work-related issues and provide ergonomic advice
• Work with postural and balance issues, including Vestibular disorders.
We focus as much on addressing the source of an issue as we do treating the painful symptoms, through a pathway of assessment and diagnosis, hands-on therapy, rehabilitation and patient education.
About our Practitioners
Treatment & Rehabilitation sessions at the Rehab Hub are provided by degree-qualified Practitioners of varying disciplines. Many of our Practitioners are Sports Therapists or Sports Rehabilitators who possess in-depth knowledge of the mechanisms behind injury – whether in sport or day-to-day life, and extensive knowledge of musculoskeletal dysfunction and pathologies. Their treatment approach is very hands-on and covers a range of physical interventions in addition to home exercise prescription and patient education and support.
Physiotherapists have a very broad knowledge base and medical background/experience. Their skillset enables them to treat the widest variety of injuries, illnesses and diseases with their comprehensive knowledge and treatment options. Physiotherapy at the Rehab Hub is provided by Annie Head; a Senior Physiotherapist with over 18 years of clinical experience of acute and chronic musculoskeletal conditions, orthopaedic pre and post-operative rehabilitation. Additionally, Annie specialises in Vestibular Rehabilitation with over 10 years’ experience in this field.
